Waiver Services
Blue Ridge Home Care, Inc. has provided Waiver Services for clients who are eligible for home and community-based services under the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services. The goal of waiver services is for the client to preserve their level of independence for as long as possible while remaining in their homes. It also ensures that the individual’s well-being and health are prioritized throughout the provision of care. In such a way, the individual avoids institutional care and continues to be a contributing member of the community.
Our agency is able to provide the following waiver services:

- For individuals with Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI)
- Even with the resulting disabilities or mobility limitations of TBI, the individual can still be provided with support services and self-care skills training – as a way to preserve independence in their preferred living environment

- Services under the waiver program will enable the individual to acquire alternative living arrangements wherein he or she gets to practice self-care skills
